Description

The Olney Hymns

The Cowper and Newton Museum had the Olney Hymns reprinted (2021) in readiness for the 250th anniversary of the hymn Amazing Grace (2023). The Hymn Book is bound in red material to give a distinctive appeal and will stand out in your bookcase.

The Cowper & Newton Museum is the only stockist of this world-famous hymn book.  The Olney Hymns contains 348 hymns by both John Newton and William Cowper. The most famous hymn is ‘Amazing Grace’ by John Newton.

“Amazing grace (how sweet the sound)
that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind but now I see”
