A Visit from the Sierra Leone High Commission to the Cowper and Newton Museum

The Cowper & Newton Museum was delighted to welcome two members of the Sierra Leone High Commission on Tuesday 1st November.  Mr Abdulai Braima (Information Attache) and Mr Wiston Yankuba (Head of Chancery) along with the Sierra Leone Community MK, visited in response to the exhibition “Sierra-ously Surprising”, an exhibition all about the art and culture of Sierra Leone, which will be hosted in the Three Hares Gallery on the top floor of the Museum from 3rd December 2022 until 30th March 2023. The Cowper & Newton Museum and Sierra Leone Community MK were thrilled to have the High Commission input on the exhibition.

Also, we were lucky enough for the High Commission to loan us their Sierra Leone flag for the exhibition!
