UK Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities like ‘Cowper Memorial Museum Trust’ to obtain from HMRC an Additional 25p for every pound that you give us today at no extra cost to you. For us to claim Gift Aid, we must ask for a donation of at least 10% of the ticket price. Gift Aid is optional. If you would like to donate, and are a UK tax payer, simply choose a ticket which includes a donation and tick the box to confirm that you are happy for Cowper & Newton Museum to receive these essential additional funds from the government.

I confirm that I am a UK taxpayer and I understand that if I pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay the difference.
