The Life of John Newton Museum Guided Tour

Meet our Tour Guide in the museum shop for the beginning of a fascinating guided tour.  Find out about the life of John Newton through the Museum collection, including his early life, how he developed as an ordained minister and his friendship with William Cowper which gave birth to the Olney Hymns.

Spaces limited to 10 people.

TOUR PRICE:  FREE  with your annual pass OR if you don’t have an annual pass, purchase yours in our shop on arrival for only £10 to enjoy a year of visits to our museum, gardens and art exhibitions in the gallery, during usual opening hours.

Our Museum building remains CLOSED.  We are opening our gardens on limited entry.  The Cowper & Newton Museum gardens will be open to welcome you on Wednesday 5th August 10.30 – 12.15 and Saturday 8th August 10.30 – 12.15
