The Life of John Newton Guided Walk

To mark John Newton’s 300th birthday, join our Trustees Tom Jones and Amanda Molcher on a guided walk and talk around the town and parish church of St Peter & St Paul.
Follow Newton’s life journey from birth in London, life at sea in the Navy and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and his growth in faith which led him to Olney as an ordained minister, writer and hymn writer.
The tour includes a tour inside the parish church of St Peter & St Paul.
This is a short walk with plenty to see along the way. The route is paved but comfortable shoes are recommended. Meet your guides at the Museum, setting off at 10.30 am.
