Museum Guided Tour

Museum Guided Tour

Meet our Tour Guide, Derek, in the Museum Shop for the beginning of a fascinating tour of William Cowper’s former home from 1768-1786.

Find out about how the lives of William Cowper and John Newton came together, through Cowper’s poetry and prolific letter-writing, the Olney Hymns and John Newton’s famous hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ of 250 years, commemorated in 2023.

Our Guide will illustrate his stories by showing you key items from our 5000 artefacts collected over the 124 years of the Museum’s existence.

£4 tour price, plus usual admission £10 (which doubles-up as an annual pass too!). Already have your annual pass? Only £4 to pay on the morning!

Spaces limited to 10 people. Book your place: info@cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk
