Dickens of a Christmas at the Museum

 

REFRESHMENTS:  Delicious hot chocolate, tea and coffee and mince pies, served from 10:30am until 4pm – warm up those hands!

ENTERTAINMENT:  Three 15mins performances of ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Amber Elephant Performing Arts (12pm, 2pm and 3pm) in the garden.  Singing by Angie Jean with David Fletcher on guitar in the museum Courtyard. 

GARDENS:  Beautiful festive Christmas light display in the Summer House and Flower gardens. 

INSIDE THE MUSEUM:  Our 18th century rooms are beautifully decorated as befitting Cowper’s house at Christmas time 250 years ago.

GALLERY:  Art exhibition upstairs in the museum’s Three Hares Gallery. (Free entry to the gallery). 

ADMISSION: Free entry to gardens and courtyard.  Purchase your ticket to see inside the Museum for a special price today – Adults £5 (usual price £10) and children free.  Annual pass holders free.

Our Museum building remains CLOSED.  We are opening our gardens on limited entry.  The Cowper & Newton Museum gardens will be open to welcome you on Wednesday 5th August 10.30 – 12.15 and Saturday 8th August 10.30 – 12.15
