Fun with Lace – afternoon workshop

Fun with Lace – afternoon workshop
Discover the fascinating art of lacemaking in this fun, hands-on workshop for children. Perfect for young beginners, this 1.5-hour session introduces the traditional craft of lacemaking with a demonstration by experienced lace makers, followed by the chance to create your own small piece of lace to take home as a special souvenir. While you’re here, enjoy beautiful displays of lace from the museum’s own collection and learn more about this historic craft. Adults are welcome to have a go too, subject to availability.
