Join our Trustee, Tom, on a guided walk to the north end of the town.

Discover the stories of yesteryear, including the Great Fires of Olney and life and trades of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Discover why Olney High Street is so wide. See the fascinating house decorated in the Art Nouveau style and explore the Bucks Lace Industry. This is a short walk with plenty to see along the way. 

This is a short walk with plenty to see along the way. The route is paved but comfortable shoes are recommended. Meet Tom at the front of the Museum, setting off at 10.30 am. The tour will take about one and a half hours.

No need to book in advance.  Pay on the day by cash or credit card.  £8 adults/ £2 children under 16 years.  (No concessions).

Our Museum building remains CLOSED.  We are opening our gardens on limited entry.  The Cowper & Newton Museum gardens will be open to welcome you on Wednesday 5th August 10.30 – 12.15 and Saturday 8th August 10.30 – 12.15
