Free Talk with Refreshments: Amazing Grace with Professor Bruce Hindmarsh

For the 250-year anniversary of Amazing Grace, historian Bruce Hindmarsh, a long time friend of the museum, has teamed up with writer Craig Borlase to write a new general-audience biography of John Newton. Based on the original sources, with added research to fill in details, it is tells the story of the author of “Amazing Grace” vividly and reads like a novel. Dr. Hindmarsh will present a talk at the museum, based on the book, followed by a book signing. He will also show a trailer for the upcoming feature film, based on the book. Learn more about the book at www.amazinggracebook.com.

There is no admission fee and it is free to attend the event. Booking is advised by emailing info@cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk
