St Peter and St Paul Church, Olney Print

This painting has been ascribed to James Andrews (1734 – 1817)  This landscape shows  Olney Church, the Great House (now lost) and the Mill from Emberton. James Andrews was a local stone mason, who was reputed to have taught drawing to William Cowper. John Newton was the curate at the Church 1764 – 1780.

The painting was gifted to the Cowper and Newton Museum in 1910.

The print is mounted ready to be framed.
