An Art Exhibition by international artist, Naini Aliwhalia, is a real treat and so we’re delighted to be welcoming Naini to show her work in the Gallery during June and July.

Naini’s work has been exhibited widely, including in the US and India.   She started painting from a young age and had a lucky break when she was offered the opportunity for her first solo exhibition in 1991. The first show was critiqued by the top art critics of the time; the positive reviews for the self-taught gifted artist came as a surprise.

This was just the beginning of an art career. Since then her art has gained much popularity. There is freedom of expression and depth that only comes when one is well versed with the subject and the medium. Aside from working in the depths of minimalist style being a prolific painter she works in other mediums and styles. Other styles will also be on display along with commissioned portrait.

Naini has exhibited widely over the years.  She also had exclusive agent representation. Her work was selected for the 12thCleveland International Drawing Biennale 1996 (UK). She regularly takes part in events and exhibits around the country including St Ives and Cambridge. She also regularly exhibits with Biggleswade District Art Society (BDAS), a local artists group.

Commissions are welcome be it something small or large, for home or office, either in a specific style or something new. Including portraits starting from A4 size. If unsure why not have no-obligation initial chat.

SPECIAL OFFER!  By presenting the leaflet available in the Museum shop, visitors to the Gallery can receive £5 off purchases over £15.
