Share Photography is a group of 6 photography enthusiasts who exhibit in local galleries and venues several times a year with the simple aim of sharing what we enjoy doing best with each other, as well as the general public. As we share our images and conversations about photography, we hope to promote inclusion and diversity through our art and in doing so support one another to develop our photographic skills.
Between us we photograph a wide variety of subjects from landscapes, architecture, wildlife and nature to fine art abstracts. You will find a mixture of some of our favourite images in this exhibition, some in colour with others capturing the mood in monochrome.
Photographs tell a story but we invite the viewer to consider their own interpretation of an image and the emotions it may evoke.
‘ It is an illusion that photographs are made with the camera….they are made with the eye, heart, and head,’
said Henri Cartier-Bresson.
We are all very passionate about our images and enjoy sharing some of the magic moments we experienced at the time of capture.
Matt Hardy stated, “Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.”
