Freedom Within Precision
An Exhibition by Jessica Ward
In a series of delicate mixed media works Jessica explores the interplay and interrelationship between the extremes of control and chance, revelling in the deliberate and the unintentional, treading a fine line between precision and freedom.
Through working in the limited colour palette of black and white, and building patterns from the recurrent motif of squares, Jessica has created a series of works where these extremes are explored and coexist.
Enter into Jessica’s world where intricate, precise and playful works invite the viewer’s eye to move between varying layers, patterns, shadows, and contrasts of light and dark, resulting in a highly engaging and immersive exhibition.
Freedom Within Precision runs from 4th– 26th April at The Three Hares Gallery at The Cowper & Newton Museum, Olney. Gallery Admission Free.
