Open Gardens Weekend – National Garden Scheme

open garden

Our beautiful gardens, in the heart of Olney, will be open on Saturday and Sunday in aid of the National Garden Scheme. 10:30am – 4:30pm

Over the last 90 years, the NGS has raised over £50 million for nursing charities across the UK, thanks to the warm generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors.

See lace-making demonstrations in the gardens.  Buy plants, and seeds harvested from our gardens.  Enjoy refreshments served in Cowper’s Courtyard.  Your entrance fee will be supporting wonderful nursing causes – thank you..

ENTRANCE TO THE GARDENS for NGS is £3 payable in the alleyway to the gardens for ALL adults (16+ yrs)/ free for children 0-15 yrs.

PLEASE NOTE:    ENTRANCE TO SEE THE INSIDE OF MUSEUM IS ON SATURDAY ONLY and is by separate admission as follows:

  • Free for Annual Pass Holders
  • £4 for one-off visit to see inside the museum.  Please show your NGS ticket in the shop.
  • You can buy an Annual Pass as usual for £7.00 on the day, to enjoy visits to both the museum and gardens throughout the rest of the year.  PLEASE NOTE: On these two NGS days the ADDITIONAL NGS garden admission of £3.00 still applies.
