Guided walk to Lavendon Mill via Clifton Reynes

Guided walk to Lavendon Mill via Clifton Reynes

Join Trustee Tom on a guided walk to Lavendon Mill, location of the Poplar Field, one of William Cowper’s best loved poems. The walk will take us around the historic village of Clifton Reynes and we will look at aspects of the history of the Great Ouse valley. We will return to the Museum but you may choose to complete your walk at the Robin Hood pub and make your own way back.

The walk is about 4 miles in total across undulating farmland and will take in a couple of stiles, although a short detour is available to avoid them.
