Perfect for young beginners, this 1.5-hour session introduces the traditional craft of lacemaking with a demonstration by experienced lace makers, followed by the chance to create your own small piece of lace to take home as a special souvenir. While you’re here, enjoy beautiful displays of lace from the museum’s own collection and learn more about this historic craft. Adults are welcome to have a go too, subject to availability.\nWorkshop Information\nDuration: 1.5 hours\nSuitable for: Children (adults welcome if spaces are available)\nCapacity: Maximum of 6 children per session\nBooking: Advance booking is essential\nCost: FREE for children.
