The session will begin with a walk around the beautiful museum gardens, including the herb and medicinal beds, where you will gather flowers and herbs to make an infusion to sip on whilst Nicky gives tips on how best to forage seasonally and safely and talks about how to use herbs at home to aid health and well-being. Nicky will demonstrate how to make an infused herbal oil and a healing salve, which participants can take home. Other ways of preserving herbs, such as oxymels and syrups, will also be discussed in a practical workshop that aims to leave you inspired to make your own herbal creations at home.
