DESCRIPTION:\nGuided walk to Lavendon Mill via Clifton Reynes\nJoin our us on a guided walk to Lavendon Mill, location of the Poplar Field, one of William Cowper’s best loved poems. The walk will take us around the historic village of Clifton Reynes and we will look at aspects of the history of the Great Ouse valley. We will return to the Museum but you may choose to complete your walk at the Robin Hood pub and make your own way back.\nThe walk is about 4 miles in total across undulating farmland and will take in a couple of stiles, although a short detour is available to avoid them.   Allow 2 hours.\nMeet our guide outside the Museum at 10:30am.  \nWear comfy shoes.\nBook in advance:  events@cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk / 01234 711516/ or ask in the Shop.  Pay in advance or on the day by cash or credit card.  £12 adults/ children 16 years and under accompanied by an adult go free/ Students 25 years and under showing a valid ID half price.  Annual pass NOT VALID for this event.\n
