DESCRIPTION:The 2026 season in the Three Hares Gallery @ the Cowper & Newton Museum opens with Amazing Grace: John Newton & Olney, a free to enter temporary exhibition from the Cowper & Newton Museum which explores how the town of Olney became the home of the hymn known around the world as ‘Amazing Grace’.  Now that our touring pop-up exhibition has returned home, we have combined it with further research and display items to bring more of the story even further to life.\nCome and visit to delve into the town of Olney in the 1700s, gain further insight into how Newton’s life is woven into the hymn, and explore the music with which it has been paired over the years.\nFilms made for the 250th anniversary of Amazing Grace are also available to view.\nEntry to this temporary exhibition if free\nThe Three Hares Gallery is open during Museum open times:\nTuesday 17th February to Saturday 28th February 2026 from 11.00 am – 1.30 pm\nTuesday 3rd March to Friday 27th March from 11.00 am – 4.30 pm\n \n  \n
