SUMMARY:Holey Moley Bowl Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Holey Moley Bowl Workshop\nby Sally McRae\n \nAt this 3 hour workshop you will make a Holey Moley Bowl which will measure approximately 19 cm when finished.\nThere is an option of staying until 4pm if needed.  If you would like to make a second bowl, there will be an additional cost of £25 payable to Sally on the day.\n\nThe workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience of working with glass as the small group size of up to 8 means that I can taylor my support to each individual participant.\nMy workshops are always relaxed and fun and I provide a wide choice of glass and all the tools and equipment you need to make your beautiful piece of glass.\nAfter the workshop I will take your glass home and fire it twice in my kiln, the first firing will fuse the individual pieces of glass together as a flat piece and the second much cooler firing is in a mould which will form the glass into a bowl shape.  Your finished glass will be delivered back to the Cowper and Newton Museum within 14 days of the workshop.\nCost is £70 per session and all equipment will be provided.\nThe workshops are aimed at adults, teenagers are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent/responsible adult.\nPlease note: Do not wear sandals/flip flops or any other open shoes, it really hurts if a piece of glass gets stuck between your foot and your shoe and if you are not wearing suitable footwear you will not be able to take part – sorry!\nPLEASE BOOK YOUR SESSION IN ADVANCE – ONLY 8 PLACES AVAILABLE.\nBook your place by emailing us with the title and date of this workshop in your email’s subject heading:\nevents@cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk ( mailto:events@cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk )\nAlternatively book by contacting the office on 01234 711516/ or if you’re passing by please ask our volunteer in the Shop.\n \n \n
