DESCRIPTION:Museum and Gardens open for the new season\nWelcome back to the Cowper & Newton Museum!\nToday is our first day open for the 2025.  We have been busy behind the scenes conserving our collection, renovating, gardening and planning an exciting variety of events.  It’s going to be another busy and exciting year and our Trustees, staff and volunteers are ready to help you discover it all.\n‘Historic townhouse, tranquil gardens, art exhibition gallery and some of the greatest stories of the era’\nWhat’s to see?\nNew Three Hares Art Gallery exhibition:  ‘The Gift of Stitch’   https://cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk/gallery/ ( https://cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk/gallery/ )\nand..\nour 18th century historic site has a kitchen, a parlour, Cowper’s bedroom, rooms dedicated to the story of the Slave Trade and Amazing Grace, rooms about lacemaking and Georgian life.  There’s a dressing up room for all ages to have fun with.  Our shop sells unique gifts, many beautifully handmade by our talented volunteers.
