DESCRIPTION:History of Allotments – evening talk\nEnjoy an evening talk by Elaine, our Head Gardener of the Summer House Garden about the history of Allotments and their purpose, from 16th Century to present day.\nWhy do we have Allotments?  What purpose do they serve?  How have they changed over the years, and why are they an integral part of every day life?\nEvent free with an annual pass or £5 on the night. Glass of Pimms will be available for a donation towards the upkeep of our heritage site.
