Singers will need to have some singing experience and a bit of singing confidence, but that could be from almost any singing background.\nAll the details of the workshops are available via the Cowper & Newton Museum social media channels and website – make sure to pencil 17th June in your diary!\nClick here to sign up to the workshops and 250 Voices performance at Campbell Park. You will need to gather backstage 10 minutes before your timeslot, there will be experienced Stage Managers on hand to help!\nThere is a piano for accompaniment, but you can use a track if you prefer, or even sing acapella!\nEach choir is required to pay £150 to cover costs, but will receive back a share of the bucket collections which take place throughout the day (last year, choirs received £100 each back from the collection). Choirs are expected to watch from the audience when not performing.\nIf you would like your choir to have their own performance slot at the festival, please contact Craig McLeish at craigmcleish@msn.com.\n \nFor more information about the original idea conceived for Amazing Grace 250, the writer, composer and orchestra … and much more … have a look at our Amazing Grace 250 So far … pages on the Museum website. https://cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk/amazing-grace-250-commemorations/ ( https://cowperandnewtonmuseum.org.uk/amazing-grace-250-commemorations/ )\nWith thanks to key supporters Arts Council England and Milton Keynes City Council.\n
