DESCRIPTION:A Georgian Christmas festive display\n‘A Georgian Christmas’ display – festive decorations in our 18th century rooms that would have been on display in William Cowper’s day, 250 years ago.\nSmell the fruity aromas and delicious spices that would have been used in the cooking.  The Parlour would have been warm from the Yule Log blazing in the fire and highly decorated throughout including evergreen sprigs in the window panes… use your imagination to transport yourself back in time.\nChildren can enjoy a ‘Hunt the Slipper’ trail. Come into our warm and welcoming Shop to find a 12th Night Cake…. the beginning of your journey.\n(Usual museum entrance fee applies/ children’s trail free).\n
